Der Geist der Reise

Discover Thailand as a family, at a pace suited to all ages. From the historic city of Ayutthaya to the mangroves of Amphawa, passing through the waterfalls of Erawan National Park and the serenity of Koh Yao Noi, this 15-day itinerary invites you to share precious moments together, in a secure and well-supervised setting.

The first days immerse you in history and nature: visiting Buddhist temples in Nakhon Pathom, a train ride around Kanchanaburi and meeting elephants at the Elephant Haven sanctuary, an experience that is both educational and touching for children. Erawan National Park, with its emerald waterfalls, offers an accessible and refreshing nature break for the whole family.

The Amphawa region then opens the doors to riverside Thailand: lively floating markets, sugar palm plantations, boat rides among fireflies at dusk. Next, head to Khao Sok National Park, its dense forests and karst landscapes, before reaching the island of Koh Yao Noi for a few days of relaxation by the water.

The stay concludes in Bangkok, where a bike tour through the green neighborhood of Bang Krachao allows you to end this trip on a sweet and lively note, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Throughout the itinerary, logistics are handled so you can fully enjoy every moment, as a family and in complete peace of mind.

Sur les marchés flottants d'Amphawa

AmphawaGuide francophoneDriver

This morning, we leave for the small floating market of Tah kah, rich in colors and scents. A real immersion in local Thai life. Then, an excursion to a local palm sugar industry. Local curiosity, Market on the Mae Klong railway, where 4 times a day, the fruit and vegetable stalls fold up hastily during the passage of the train crossing the market.

Next, we set off to discover life in the mangroves. By boat, we explore this fragile ecosystem. During our excursion we discover the lifestyle of fishermen (here cockle fishing is done from a surfboard) and visit a shellfish farm. Lunch featuring local specialties.

As night falls, a boat ride on the canal. Our boatman picks us up on the quays, and we set off for a mini-excursion hunting fireflies that illuminate the waters.

This evening, we head to the quays to taste the local flavors of the Floating Market, which is held on weekend evenings. Along the canals, many locals have come to dine. Like them, we order our small dishes directly from each boat: stir-fried noodle dish, some shrimp or squid skewers, or why not pre-cut mangoes. Day accompanied by an English-speaking guide.

Le nord est plus frais de novembre à janvier, tandis que les plages du sud sont idéales de décembre à avril. La saison des pluies (juin-octobre) offre des paysages verdoyants et moins de touristes, avec des averses courtes et intenses.
